Dar nu merg niciodat\u0103 mai departe! C\u00e2nd examinezi vie\u0163ile lor interioare vei descoperi c\u0103 ei nu \u015ftiu nimic despre practica evlaviei. Ei nu iubesc adev\u0103rul, nici nu sunt iubitori, nici smeri\u0163i, nici one\u015fti, nici buni, nici bl\u00e2nzi, nici darnici, nici cinsti\u0163i. Ce s\u0103 spunem despre ace\u015fti oameni? Ei pretind c\u0103 sunt cre\u015ftini, dar nu este nici substan\u0163\u0103 \u015fi nici road\u0103 \u00een cre\u015ftinismul lor. Este un singur lucru de spus despre ei \u2013 sunt cre\u015ftini formali. Religia lor este doar o form\u0103 goal\u0103.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">A\u015fa este religia formal\u0103 \u00eempotriva c\u0103reia doresc s\u0103 ridic un cuv\u00e2nt de avertisment \u00een aceast\u0103 zi. Un om ar putea fi fiul lui Avraam \u00een trup \u2013 un membru al uneia din cele doisprezece semin\u0163ii \u2013 t\u0103iat \u00eemprejur a opta zi \u2013 \u0163in\u00e2nd toate s\u0103rb\u0103torile \u2013 un \u00eenchin\u0103tor regulat \u00een templu \u2013 \u015fi, totu\u015fi, \u00een ochii lui Dumnezeu s\u0103 nu fie iudeu! \u00cen acela\u015fi fel, un om poate fi cre\u015ftin prin m\u0103rturisire exterioar\u0103 \u2013 un membru al unei biserici cre\u015ftine \u2013 botezat cu botezul cre\u015ftin \u2013 credincios \u00een primirea Cinei Domnului \u2013 \u015fi, totu\u015fi, \u00een ochii lui Dumnezeu s\u0103 nu fie cre\u015ftin de loc.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Asculta\u0163i ce a spus profetul Isaia: \u201eCe-Mi trebuie Mie mul\u0163imea jertfelor voastre, zice Domnul. Sunt s\u0103tul de arderile-de-tot ale berbecilor, \u015fi de gr\u0103simea vi\u0163eilor; nu-Mi place s\u00e2ngele taurilor, oilor \u015fi \u0163apilor. C\u00e2nd veni\u0163i s\u0103 v\u0103 \u00eenf\u0103\u0163i\u015fa\u0163i \u00eenaintea Mea, cine v\u0103 cere astfel de lucruri, ca s\u0103-Mi spurca\u0163i cur\u0163ile? Nu mai aduce\u0163i daruri de m\u00e2ncare nefolositoare, c\u0103ci Mi-e sc\u00e2rb\u0103 de t\u0103m\u00e2ie! C\u00e2nd v\u0103 \u00eentinde\u0163i m\u00e2inile, \u00cemi \u00eentorc ochii de la voi; \u015fi ori c\u00e2t de mult v-a\u0163i ruga, n-ascult: c\u0103ci m\u00e2inile v\u0103 sunt pline de s\u00e2nge!\u201d (Isaia 1:11-15)<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Examinate, aceste cuvinte sunt extraordinare. Jertfele care sunt declarate aici zadarnice au fost instituite chiar de Dumnezeu! S\u0103rb\u0103torile \u015fi regulile pe care Dumnezeu spune c\u0103 le \u201eur\u0103\u015fte\u201d, au fost ordonate de El. \u00censu\u015fi Dumnezeu \u00ce\u015fi declar\u0103 hot\u0103r\u00e2rile\u201a ca fiind zadarnice c\u00e2nd acestea sunt folosite formal \u015fi f\u0103r\u0103 inim\u0103 \u00een cel care aduce laud\u0103! De fapt ele sunt mai r\u0103u dec\u00e2t zadarnice; ele sunt chiar ofensatoare \u015fi d\u0103un\u0103toare. Cuvintele nu pot fi imaginate mai distincte \u015fi mai evidente. Ele arat\u0103 c\u0103 religia formal\u0103 este f\u0103r\u0103 valoare \u00een ochii lui Dumnezeu. Nu merit\u0103 nici m\u0103car s\u0103 fie numit\u0103 religie.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Asculta\u0163i, \u00een ultimul r\u00e2nd, ce spune Domnul Isus. Vorbe\u015fte despre iudeii din vremea Lui: \u201eNorodul acesta se apropie de Mine cu gura \u015fi m\u0103 cinste\u015fte cu buzele, dar inima lui este departe de Mine. Formalismul ar putea s\u0103 te ia de m\u00e2n\u0103 z\u00e2mbind, ar\u0103t\u00e2nd ca un frate, pe c\u00e2nd p\u0103catul vine asupra noastr\u0103 cu sabia scoas\u0103 \u015fi ne love\u015fte ca un du\u015fman. Familiaritatea cu o form\u0103 de religie, c\u00e2t timp \u00eei neglij\u0103m realitatea, are ca \u015fi efect o cumplit\u0103 amor\u0163ire a con\u015ftiin\u0163ei. Formeaz\u0103 treptat o crust\u0103 groas\u0103 de insensibilitate peste omul din l\u0103untru. Oare crede c\u0103 Dumnezeu nu vede lipsa inimii \u015fi amor\u0163irea cre\u015ftinismului lui?
